30B

23 Apr

On my flight from ATL to NYC, I sat  in seat 30A next to a refreshingly uncreepy man and his daughter in seats 30B and 30C, respectively. They were on their way to NY because the daughter was to sing at Carnegie Hall the next day. His wife couldn’t make it because she was running the Boston Marathon and his son stayed home because he had to play baseball. Oh, and he was working on the release of his second book (I forgot the name, Rick, sorry). Not to mention, he is friends with Sara Blakely, who I met & instantly loved at a Zeta convention. He even went to her wedding and walked in with Matt Damon. She invented Spanx- a sorority house staple.

I told him he possibly had the most over achieving family I’d ever encountered.

I was skimming through his blog today and thought this was funny/worth reading: How Paris Hilton Caused the Second Great Depression

I kept skimming and it turns out, there are a bunch of good reads on there. Check it out.

Also new to my “i read” is Ang, her perspective on NY and life itself makes you wish you could experience the world through her eyes and her heart.

And finally, my Katie. She is getting married next year and I get to stand on the sidelines as a bridesmaid. She took my B card. First time as a BM. I am so excited for her and Jessie. She started her own wedding blog.

The amount of time I spend reading blogs compared to the time not reading blogs in my day is getting creepishly out of balance. But I love the voyeuristic approach to peeping into your life through an invisible audience.

Keep ‘em coming.

I like this Rick Smith guy. I’ve been reading his blog for the past 30 mins. Sounds like it was a productive plane ride.

Ange is always a favorite read.

Katie is going to have a lovely wedding. The Ca’ d Zan is gorgeous.
